The Northland Special Education Cooperative is comprised of 11 cooperating
independent school districts and one private residential school. It is
held together by a philosophical agreement that children with disabilites
in a semi-rural area are better served by a group of agencies which share
resources. The Cooperative serves a geographic area of approximately
5,000 square miles and student population of approximately 10,000 students. |
The resources available through this site are intended to provide staff and parents with information
to assist them in planning and programming for students with disabilities. If you have
information that you find helpful and would like added to this site, please call the special
education office.
